Welcome to El Descanso del Guerrero, or the "Resting Place of the Warrior"! Nestled between the Santa Monica Mountains and Pacific Ocean, our paradise on earth is roughly 70 acres where we raise American Saddlebred horses, Cashmere goats, Sebastopol geese, White Crested and Mandarin ducks, Guinea fowl, and a slew of other grand animals, all of which are protected by our Great Pys, an old German Shepherd and an even older Black lab. We are dedicated to using natural horsemanship methods in our training and believe the barehoof promotes natural movement, soundness and longevity.
